Would you like to climb Africas highest peak?

Kilimanjaro is the worlds highest free standing mountain and one of the seven summits.

Here you will easily be able to find out:

- what month is the best?

- what route is the best for you?

- how about fitness and climbing skills?

All you need is fitness – no climbing skills.

The fitter you are, the easier your ascent will be.

There is no rush up the mountain, but you need to be able to walk uphill 5 to 7 hours per day.

You need no specific climbing expertise or skills: most of the trek is walking. Once in a while you might use a hand to get over an obstacle.

The minimum age to do these treks is around 10 years.

The best months for your Kilimanjaro ascent

Kilimanjaro can be climbed all year. Throughout the year temperatures don't vary much.

  • June to December are the busiest months, mainly because of the Safari conditions, which are favorable during these months. 2 months booking ahead is highly recommended.

  • January and February are the warmest months and can be very recommended.

  • April and May are the wettest months. The chances to reach the peak are similar throughout the year.
